Eligibility Criteria

Income Limit:
- Family income must not exceed ₹3.5 lakh per annum.
- State-specific reservation quotas apply.
Academic Performance:
- Minimum 55% marks in Class 7 or 8 (reduced to 50% for SC/ST students).
School Type:
- Must be a regular student in a government or government-aided school.
- Students in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, or residential schools providing free boarding and lodging are ineligible.
Duration:
- Scholarship is available for 4 years (from Class 9 to Class 12).

Selection Process

Stage 1: State-level test conducted by respective State Governments/UTs.
Stage 2: National-level test administered by NCERT.

Scholarship recipients are selected based on their performance in these exams.
